Services
-
All of our services are provided first-come, first-serve at no cost.
-
Each student is limited to 20 hours of tutoring/mentoring and 15 hours of application consulting annually.
-
All students must be either currently or previously enrolled in an undergraduate institution.
Intake
Upon signing up, you will be assigned to a volunteer who will hold a short meeting with you to determine your plans for applying to medical school, subjects you would like to focus on, and your general availability for meeting with tutors and mentors.
Mentorship
After your intake session, you will also be paired with a mentor to guide you on your MCAT and pre-application journey. Your mentor can answer more general questions than your tutor, such as advice on extracurriculars, managing the demands of premed life, and navigating studying in premed classes.
Tutoring
After your intake session, your tutor will share their availability. Based on your preferences, the tutor can review concepts or practice problems with you. They can also guide you through the free content review resources provided when you sign up for the program.
Application Consulting
Once you receive your MCAT score and are ready to apply, you will be assigned to an application consultant who can assist with your primary application, secondary applications, and interview preparation.
General Workshops
Group sessions will be held regularly by different volunteers. Topics and timing of these sessions will vary. All students in the program are welcome, and workshops do not count towards your annual hour limit.
